Houston AV systems designed to work
beautifully and remain serviceable.
Across Houston, our work ranges from high-performance listening rooms and theaters to smart homes, conference rooms and system takeovers. The standard stays the same: understand the room, then engineer the system.
Our point of view
Different rooms need different systems. The engineering discipline stays consistent.
We do not force every project into one platform or equipment package. The room, the client and the support path determine what belongs in the design.
Audio is treated as a performance system, whether it is a two-channel listening room, Atmos theater, distributed background music or a conference-room DSP design.
Programming, networking and power are planned as core infrastructure because they determine whether the visible technology still works reliably years later.
For existing systems, we begin with diagnosis and documentation so the client gets a clear explanation of what failed and what can remain.
Designed as one system
The room, the infrastructure and the interface have to agree.
Beautiful performance comes from hundreds of decisions working together. We pay attention to the pieces people see and the engineering they never should have to think about.
What gets considered
Performance lives in the details.
01Home theater + Dolby Atmos
Dedicated rooms and media spaces designed around acoustics, picture, bass and control.
02High-performance + whole-home audio
Two-channel listening and distributed music with careful speaker placement and tuning.
03Lighting + motorized shades
Lutron scenes, keypads and shade control integrated into the larger system.
04Smart home + programming
Control4, Crestron and Savant integration built around the client’s routines.
05Commercial AV
Conference rooms, Teams/Zoom spaces, DSP, video walls and networked AV.
06Service + recovery
Troubleshooting, programming and takeovers for systems we did not originally install.
The Obsidian standard
Built to perform.
Built to live with.
We do not treat the finish line as “equipment powered on.” The job is complete when the experience feels natural, sounds right, and can be supported after the installation crew leaves.
