Home networking & Wi-Fi service in Houston.
Streaming stalls, smart-home apps disconnect or one room loses Wi-Fi? We assess wired connections, wireless coverage and the network links your AV depends on before proposing new equipment. Existing networks installed by others are welcome.
Why a smart home is only as good as its network
Most automation, streaming and camera problems start with the network. A dependable wired backbone and well-placed access points prevent the dropouts that make a system feel unreliable.
Coverage designed, not guessed
I plan access point locations from your floor plan and construction, then test coverage after install. That is how you get a strong signal in the rooms people actually use.
Separate networks for separate jobs
Guest devices, cameras and entertainment equipment can run on their own segments, so one problem does not affect everything else, and your cameras and controls stay protected.
Common questions
Is mesh Wi-Fi good enough?
For small homes it often is. Larger or denser homes usually need wired access points for consistent speed.
Do I need Ethernet in the walls?
Wired connections to access points, TVs and equipment are the best option, and are easiest to add during construction.
Can you fix my existing Wi-Fi?
Often yes. A survey shows whether the fix is placement, equipment or configuration.
Experience across the system—not just one box
Chris Cox brings over 25 years of professional AV engineering, programming, integration and troubleshooting experience across multiple platforms. We look at how the equipment, control and network work together, then discuss the service scope, access requirements and charges before work begins.
