Katy audio video that
works as one system.
Katy projects give us the opportunity to coordinate theater, lighting, audio and networking early—especially when a remodel or new build opens the walls.
Our point of view
The best time to solve infrastructure is before the drywall hides it.
Prewire planning should account for speaker positions, displays, shades, access points, cameras, control wiring and future service—not just today’s equipment list.
A theater benefits enormously when speaker locations, conduit, projector geometry and lighting zones are decided before finishes are complete.
Whole-home audio is easier to live with when zones follow real routines: kitchen and patio for entertaining, bedrooms for private listening, and common areas for everyday music.
Even on new systems, we leave a support path with labeled racks, logical programming and documentation so future changes do not become archaeology.
Designed as one system
The room, the infrastructure and the interface have to agree.
Beautiful performance comes from hundreds of decisions working together. We pay attention to the pieces people see and the engineering they never should have to think about.

06Network foundation
Wired and wireless infrastructure ready for high device counts and streaming.
The Obsidian standard
Built to perform.
Built to live with.
We do not treat the finish line as “equipment powered on.” The job is complete when the experience feels natural, sounds right, and can be supported after the installation crew leaves.
